As a UCLA alumnus, I am excited to return home to serve as the Director of the UCLA Venture Capital Fund in the Office of Corporate, Foundation & Research Relations (CFRR), which serves the entire campus. Having worked closely with Michael Silton, Josh Green, and many others to help build our membership from 2008 to 2010, it is a real honor for me to follow in Michael’s footsteps as the leader of the UCLA VC Fund.
Over the last several years, the UCLA VC Fund has made incredible progress; our membership has increased substantially, and we’ve committed to growing UCLA’s entrepreneurial community through new programming and events. None of this would have been possible without the leadership, drive, and dedication of Michael Silton. As he transitions to his new role with Act One Ventures, I wanted to take this opportunity to thank Michael for his innumerable contributions to our community. I also want to assure you that he will remain an active member of our community, as we continue to build on the UCLA Venture Capital Fund’s momentum.
I look forward to engaging – or re-engaging – with the Bruin community in the months ahead.
