WHAT WE DO
We invest in startups from UCLA alumni, students, faculty & community.
We foster entrepreneurship in the UCLA Community.
We help successful Bruins pay it forward.
We bring together leading Bruin venture capitalists, experienced entrepreneurs
& the next generation of company builders.
We're helping make UCLA a leading entrepreneurial university
For UCLA Students, Parents, Faculty and Alumni
The UCLA Venture Capital Fund is a community of UCLA alumni and friends whose core purpose is to support and promote entrepreneurship at UCLA. We invest in startups from alumni, students, faculty, staff and the general UCLA community. The VC Fund mentors faculty and students, fosters the growth of UCLA companies, and connects entrepreneurs with an interest in UCLA. Members have the opportunity to advise campus entrepreneurship initiatives, raise funds for UCLA startups, and ultimately to advance UCLA as one of the top entrepreneurial universities in the nation.
Give back, influence the shape of entrepreneurship at UCLA & connect with fellow Bruins who share a common passion for growing companies.
Give Back. Give Cashless.
Give back to the next generation of entrepreneurs
Make a personal pledge of $10K or more worth of private company stock from your latest startup to the UCLA schools and programs that matter to you -- only transferring the stock to UCLA if and when you have a liquidity event. When that happens, you'll receive a substantial charitable tax deduction.
Everyone in the group will be cheering you on, and helping as they can.
Connect with Leading VCs and Entrepreneurs
Help your business and have fun!
Membership benefits include exclusive access to recruiting, networking, increased visibility, and members-only events with successful entrepreneurs, students, and faculty.
We host an annual dinner where we recognize entrepreneurial leadership, as well as regional mixers where you can get to know fellow Bruins and leverage your membership in this exclusive group. And if you are an investor, you'll get access to our deal flow of investment opportunities in new companies from the UCLA community.
Transform Entrepreneurship at UCLA
Influence the direction of entrepreneuship at UCLA and support the next generation of entrepreneurs.
Make a difference. Members can participate in building VC Fund programs. We have various programs to mentor and support the next generation of entrepreneurs.
In our UCLA Fellows program, promising students are selected for summer internships at hot startups. Fellows come to the world of startups to see the culture and experience, the ups and downs, and to build valuable connections—keys to their own future success for their first startup.
