The UCLA Venture Capital Fund is a community of UCLA alumni and friends whose core purpose is to support and promote entrepreneurship at UCLA. We invest in startups from alumni, students, faculty, staff and the general UCLA community. The VC Fund mentors faculty and students, fosters the growth of UCLA companies, and connects entrepreneurs with an interest in UCLA. Members have the opportunity to advise campus entrepreneurship initiatives, raise funds for UCLA startups, and ultimately to advance UCLA as one of the top entrepreneurial universities in the nation.

Every summer, the UCLA VC Fund sponsors two undergrads to work at hot start up. And to learn what it is like to grow a company. A young and a more experienced mentor are assigned to help the Fellow get the most from the experience and to start building their network
Every year Bruin students are employed on a part time basis to assist in the workings of the UCLA VC Fund and to learn the process of venture capital. They become an important part of connecting the student and alumni entrepreneur communities.
